Over the years I've had the pleasure of recording, playing on, and producing five of Ronnie's albums; also recording other artist's albums featuring Ronnie playing harmonica. Ronnie's material to me, is both the musical and lyrical equivalent to the painter L.S. Lowry. They tell affectionate stories, avoiding traditional styles or structures and include interesting subject matter. The lyrics are very involved, some conjuring up images of past childhood memories, whilst living in under privileged times. We arranged the songs in an un-formulaic manner. Not your typical pop tracks or traditional folk songs but something quirky and different, as per my reference to Lowry. I'm sure you will enjoy Ronnie's work. well done Ronnie ! Cheers
